Race fans came out in droves to honour our military on Military Appreciation Night, featuring the Keg Late Models, Galaxy Motors Stock Cars, and the Island Dwarf Cars. The Jerry Ferrie Memorial was also up for grabs in the Stock Car main event.
The first main event for the Keg Late Models saw Ray Anderosov and Murray Dyck leading the field to the green. On lap four the red flag would come out for two separate incidents, one involving Wade Bland and Darrell Midgley, and the other seeing Ray Anderosov slam the turn four wall. Midgley and Anderosov would be knocked out of contention for the rest of the night. On the restart Shaun Ross would inherit the lead, before Brent Morris charged ahead on lap fifteen. Morris and Dave Hemrich would tangle battling for the lead, setting up a restart with seven laps to go. Aaron Wilkie would forge ahead of Shaun Ross with two laps to go, taking the win over Ross, Wade Bland, Aaron Willison, and Murray Dyck. Heat race wins went to Brian Clutchey and Shaun Ross.
The Island Dwarf Cars were next up, with Bob Pridge and Tovay Helgesen leading the field to the green flag. Brad Struck would take the lead away from Helgesen on lap 5, before being challenged by Mike Meeres. Meeres would snatch the top spot on lap eleven, and managed to hold off Brandon French, Brad Struck, Brad Scafe, and Tovay Helgesen for the win. The dash wins went to Tovay Helgesen and Brad Scafe, with heat race wins going to Brandon French and Mike Meeres.
The Galaxy Motors Stock Cars were up next for the 50 lap Jerry Ferrie Memorial, with Bruce Duffus and Ronnie Kiefert leading the field to the green. Duffus would lead until lap ten, when Jim Steen would snatch the top spot. Wayne “The Train” Hart managed to claw his way to the stop spot on lap twenty-one, proceeding to dominate the rest of the race, winning ahead of Jim Steen, Aaron Cameron, Mark Lockhart, and Brendan Moore. The dash wins went to Jim Steen and Dave Reside, with heat race wins going to Bruce Duffus and Spencer Carlson.
The last main event was the second Twin 50 lapper for The Keg Late Models, with Geoff Morris and Dave Hemrich leading the field to the green. This race was all Geoff Morris, with the driver of the 52 car leading every lap to win ahead of Dave Hemrich, Wade Bland, Brent Morris and Mike Soppitt.
